Australian Print Workshop’s Summer School courses

Cool down this summer in APW’s air-conditioned, spacious and world class printmaking studio and gallery. Indulge yourself in the fine art of printmaking with APW’s highly skilled printers Simon White and Martin King and meet some of Australia’s finest artists while making your own limited edition prints.

Australian Print Workshop’s Summer School courses give participants a unique opportunity to work with leading artist-printmakers. Each class includes either a special presentation by a guest artist or guest tutor.

APW’s recently renovated world-class printmaking facility offers a clean, spacious, air-conditioned workshop with ample printing presses and studio space for each class member to maximise their creative endeavour. APW Summer School participants each receive a kit of printmaking materials essential for their class.

Nestled amid a vibrant streetscape in the heart of Gertrude Street, Fitzroy and surrounded by many of Melbourne’s cultural institutions, APW offers Summer School participants the opportunity to discover a variety of traditional printmaking techniques.

All classes are suitable for beginners, as well as those wishing to renew their skills and further their creative development. They are also an ideal preparation for the coming year for art teachers and senior secondary students.
