On an annual basis Visual Communication Victoria strives to offer a broad range of Professional Learning opportunities for both Teachers and Students. These opportunities range from practical workshops, lectures from respected members of the design community, gallery and museum exhibitions and curriculum specific workshops and tutorials.
The VCV Events Calendar Menu provides links to the variety of professional learning events on offer by both Visual Communication Victoria and other providers. All Visual Communication Victoria events can be booked and managed through the website and provide full details about event dates, session times, event descriptions and places available. Visual Communication Victoria are happy to accept a number of payment options including cheque and direct deposit. All non Visual Communication Victoria professional learning opportunities contain links to their respective booking sites.

As well as access to Professional Learning Networks, members are provided advanced notice and discounted pricing to all Professional Learning Events staged by the VCV council. This includes state wide Learning Workshops and the Annual Visual Communication Victoria Teacher's Conference held in July/August of each year.

Over the course of each year, the Visual Communication Victoria Council host a number of workshops and events. These events, run by teachers and professionals in their fields.
The VCV Annual Conference
Our VCV conference happens annually. The conference provided attendees with a broad range of opportunities to network with other professionals, both teaching and industry, and hear and learn from others. Participants see a showcase of new and innovative art, design and technology materials, methods and media. In particular, there are a range of workshops and discussion/information sessions aimed at increasing understanding and skills in the teaching of the new VCD Study for 2013 and onwards. Dates and details are published on the website at the end of the first term of the current year.
